Laura McCrary, Ed.DExecutive Director

Dr. Laura McCrary is the Executive Director of the Kansas Health Information Network, Inc. (KHIN). KHIN is a Kansas non-profit organization that provides health information exchange technology services to over 1500 healthcare organizations throughout Kansas. KHIN provides health information exchange and analytics to physicians-led organizations across the nation. Both KHIN and KHS are provider led and governed. Founding members include the Kansas Medical Society, the Kansas Hospital Association and KHS.

Laura completed Post-Doctoral work at University of Kansas and received a Doctorate of Education from Kansas State University. Laura is an adjunct professor at Rockhurst University-Helzberg School of Management and teaches courses in Health Information Technology and Quality. Laura is the Past-Chair of the National Policy Steering Committee for eHealth Initiative and the Payer Workgroup for the Strategic Health Information Exchange Consortium (SHIEC). Laura served as the Co-chair of the Advisory Board for the Sequoia Project/Carequality and served on the Governance Group for the National Syndromic Surveillance System.

Jody Denson, MPA, PMP Vice President of Provider Solutions

Jody Denson is the Vice President of Provider Solutions of KHIN. She has over eighteen years of experience in the healthcare field with an emphasis in working with safety net providers and community mental health centers. Jody has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master's in Public Administration both from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. She is a certified Project Management Professional and is a member of the HIMSS Heart of America Chapter. Jody is an adjunct professor at Johnson County Community College and teaches courses in Health Information Technology.

Josh Mosier Director of Marketing and Customer Support

Josh Mosier is the Director of Marketing for KONZA, and KHIN. He will assist members with a range of technical and educational customer service opportunities, including assistance with identification of quality measures and reporting requirements, input of quality data to the health information exchange, and coordination of MIPS and interoperability reporting requirements. Josh has five years’ experience in healthcare and implementing population health initiatives including working with Kansas hospitals and physician practices to assess performance and identify strategies and best practices to support the transition to a performance-based delivery system. He has a Master of Science degree in Mass Communications, a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, all from Kansas State University, Manhattan, Ks.

Brenda Kebert Privacy and Data Compliance Officer

Brenda Kebert joined KHIN in August 2015 and is the Privacy and Data Compliance Officer. She has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare field with an emphasis in quality control, project management, MIPS reporting, and medical liability. Brenda has a Bachelors of Science degree in Legal Studies from Washburn University.
