Welcome to the Kansas Health Information Network
Kansas Health Information Network advances health information sharing, enabling better care management, transformative value-based payment models and actionable data analytics that improve patient outcomes.
About KHIN
KHIN was founded by the Kansas Medical Society (KMS) and Kansas Hospital Association (KHA) in 2010 to enable members—including clinics, federally qualified health centers, health insurance providers, hospitals, pharmacies, physicians, and public health—to access and securely share critical and comprehensive health data for improved patient care and health outcomes across the state of Kansas.
KONZA National Network operates nine affiliated networks nationwide. As a KONZA Affiliated Network, KHIN’s members benefit from centralized data access, seamless data delivery and analytic dashboards for healthcare optimization.

Patient Information: Opting In or Out
At KHIN, you have the choice to decide whether you want your medical information shared with our Health Information Exchange. This exchange helps streamline communication between healthcare providers for better coordinated care. You can opt in if you wish to share your data, or opt out if you prefer to keep it private.
